A Platform for Living
Photographer Dean Kaufman described this retreat in Japan’s Chichibu mountain range as “finely balanced between rustic camping and feeling like the Farnsworth House.” The minimalist structure includes platforms upon which to pitch tents for sleeping and an enclosed space for cooking, eating, bathing, and lounging.
